Ties…With ties - from my own experience - there are two distinct extremes.
One has the conservative, fat , blandly patterned/coloured group which one finds in such dreary department stores and M&S sported by corporate types and their style. Its boring.
Then, there is the abundance of skinny supplied by trend-led, hipster stores such as “Topman” and the like. These are some cheap, if you’re terribly lucky, and may be smothered with some typically-’Topman’ pattern e.g. stars or in a graphic check. These are ubiquitous.
Now, I wish we were offered more. So I was pleasantly surprised by this lot which I feel combine the smartness ties of shape - being sufficiently broad but not overly so - and inventive, attractive colouring/patterns. are being sold for $33,000 (a bargain price). That was stitching by linen and the patch is made of fabric (not leather).
Obviously these jeans are still in wearable condition and have a lot of nice marks, that I’m assuming Napoleon or Hitler or whoever was around back then didn’t much care for. If they knew what we know now: They will never ever throw anything out! Cropped Heads is what clothing brand Organ is appropriately calling this long sleeve shirt. The woman on the back, as you might of guessed, is one of those woman from a famous Japanese ghost story.
The negative color scheme used for the shirt. It really explain the colors and lines. When I first looked at the design, it kind of reminded me of some style tattoos. Maybe a macho Yakuza. They always feel totally comfortable with inking chics and flowers all over their body. I guess that’s Japanese culture for you.
